Winery Review: According to "vivino.com," this white Pinot Grigio received an overall rating of 3.3/5. A review states, "melon pear lime zest, really strong fruit flavors, medium acid. Unique for a pinot, sweet fruits shine through. Can't beat the price but don't know if I'd drink all day" (R.T, 7/9/2020). Another individual states that there is "nothing exciting about this Pinot" (M.J, 2/10/2022). This winking owl winery had an average rating of 3.3.

Personal Review: First impression of this wine was very refreshing flavors. It had a light body, with a smooth finish. It tasted acidic, almost sparkling in the mouth. It was sour with flavors of apples or pear. It was a little dry but no where near as dry as red wine. Much better when chilled. Would enjoy drinking this wine in nice weather with a refreshing meal. Would most likely get this wine again! This winery has continued to impress me with each type of wine I try! According to wine folly, specifically page 149, Pinot Grigio is known to be a zesty white that can range anywhere between dry to just plain sweet. Majority of the grapes are grown in Italy. Highly acidic with low tannins and a lighter body. Particular flavors include white peach, lemon zest, cantaloupe, raw almond and crushed gravel.
