Winery Review: According to Drizzly.com, this dark red blend is very well appreciated with an overall rating of 4.7/5! An individual described this wine as "almost dry with initial intense full mouthfeel of blackberry, plum, tart cherry flavors with hints of vanilla mocha, and then slight dry, dusty spice near the long, lean finish because of the medium minus acid and tannin" [Andrew]. Another individual even claimed that this is the best red wine they have ever tasted [Maurice]. Allegedly, the 2018 vintage of this wine received 92 points from the "Jerry Mead New World Wine Competition in 2020!"

Personal Review: This wine is very well crafted, it is certainly on the top of my list. First scent was very strong (as most red wines are) it was challenging to depict any flavors just through scent. The first sip was full of cherry and bitterness. As I let the wine sit in my mouth I was able to pick out a mocha or vanilla flavor, with a very smooth finish. It felt thin, almost like milk, and was very warm going down the throat. According to wine folly, specifically in page 61, there is a table of the best types of wine to go with specific protein sources. Since this wine is a full-bodied wine, out of the protein sources listed, there is only 1 adequate match with full-bodied reds, that being red meat. Fish, mollusk and shellfish are a hard no when considering if you should pair a full-bodied red or not. I am excited to incorporate wine as a food when pairing it with meals, so get the best experience with each bottle. I would purchase this wine again!
