Winery Review: "As the signature style of Chandon, Brut showcases the fruitiness, vibrancy, and freshness of northern California's warm, sunny days and cool nights. Grapes for Brut are sourced from multiple cool-climate appellations, ensuring complexity and consistency in this lively, juicy style. A minimum of 12 months aging imparts a creamy complexity balanced by an elegant mouthfeel"

Personal Review: This champagne was delicious! It was extremely fruity with hints of citrus and green apple. It had a nutty flavor to it. It was extremely bubbly, it fizzed in my mouth. It was quite acidic with a powerful finish. Was not too sweet, rather it was very bitter and dry. According to page 221 of wine folly, "brut" is defined as "a term for sweetness level in sparkling wine. Brut indicates a dry style." On the tasting notes shown on the wineries website, the brut is 9 g/L which is the average.
