Personal Review: First impression of this wine was good! I usually do not gravitate towards sparkling wines as it is very filling, but this wine had several great components. It was sweet, tasted like canned peaches, and pear. Was low acidity and not too sour. Was very full of flavor on the palate. Very subtle sparkling, was not too fizzy. Served best cold! According to Wine Folly specifically page 221, the word "brut" is defined as "a term for sweetness level in sparkling wine. Brut indicates a dry style." Although this particular wine label does not explicitly say it it is brut or not, the label indicates that it is made from moscato grapes in arresting the formation process which produce the strong sweet flavor! This is a very refreshing wine and a great price for the quality!
